About Us

MTAG Services is a nationally recognized servicing company. We were organized in 2010 to acquire the tax lien servicing business and related assets of Mooring Tax Asset Group, which had been a tax lien servicer since 1997. We are expanding our servicing business to include all specialized financial assets.

Our primary focus is on servicing niche assets for the account of others. We retained substantially the same management, technology, key personnel and servicing platform as Mooring Tax Asset Group.

MTAG Services manages the servicing of portfolios of a variety of assets in 23 states and the District of Columbia, covering over 330 taxing jurisdictions. We have serviced over $2 billion in assets. In 2010, we had $485 million under management. MTAG Services maintains its executive office at 8614 Westwood Center Drive, Suite 510, Vienna, Virginia 22182.
