MTAG Services Awarded $8.65 Million DC Tax Lien Portfolio

Vienna, VA - December 15, 2010 - MTAG Services, on behalf of one of its clients, has been declared the winner of the Washington, DC "Special Deed Tax Sale". The District of Columbia published a list of 1,191 delinquent tax liens that did not sell in their regular tax sale. After extensive due diligence, MTAG Services, placed a bid for over $8.65 million worth of delinquencies and was awarded the liens.

This is another example of MTAG Services helping a municipality to monetize its delinquent municipal receivables.
